Create Clarity in Uncertainty

Wow. 2020 has been a crazy year so far. We all are struggling with uncertainty. We just don’t know what is going to happen. But, we know that even when we don’t have all the answers, we can still plan and make progress. Here are 3 tips to make sure you’re getting that done.

“Clarity in the midst of uncertainty is the way forward.” – Andy Stanley

1. Be clear – even if you don’t know it all!

When we don’t know what coming, the temptation is to wait and see. To see if we can figure things out. But

“Wait and see puts the organization at the mercy of circumstances. Wait and see is no way to lead. People want certainty. We cannot provide certainty. Clarity is the next best thing.” – Andy Stanley

You can’t get rid of uncertainty, but you can provide clarity

2. Tell your team what to expect if and when something happens.

  • What can you do to help provide clarity for your team?
    • What work is going to look like?
    • That you will stand by them when if something happens.

3. Tell your customers what they can expect of you.

  • Where can you provide clarity for your customers?
    • Let them know what to expense when they come in?
    • What your plans are to care for them?
