RND Home Inspections
Websites don’t last forever! In fact, it’s a good rule of thumb to reassess your web presence every three years to keep up with technology, trends and search engine algorithms. After we built their original site a few years ago, RND Home Inspections came to us ready for a revamp.
RND is a home inspector in the Los Angeles area. In an area where nearly 80,000 homes are sold each year, there is stiff competition for vendors in every aspect of home buying and selling.
Our website process always begins with a discovery discussion to learn exactly what our client is looking for, and this 45-day build was no different. RND needed their website to compete in a saturated market. They wanted their web presence to reach a larger audience and be more user-friendly.
Our task? Research, research, research. To help a website perform well in a saturated market of competitors, we had to come up with creative ways to optimize the site by using robust original content and keyword placement. That was done by planting keywords and phrases into existing content as well as creating some of our own. Upon launch of the site, the web inquiry forms have already been used more than before. Reaching larger audiences? Check.
Usability starts with website theme and content placement. We added more content to the home page to make things easy to find for website visitors. Eliminating the need for deep searching and minimizing the number of clicks needed keeps visitors on the site longer. Improved usability? Check.
Another big improvement we tackled was to make the site responsive (AKA: mobile-friendly) to improve visitor experience across the board. Explore the site for yourself!
